Increases Calcium Hardness in swimming pools. Essential for water balance. Helps protect pool surfaces and equipment reducing corrosion in concrete, pebble & tiled pools & spas. 

Hardness level should be kept in the 150-500 ppm range, 500g water hardner increases hardness by 10ppm in a 50,000 litre pool.
