Automatic pool cleaners
Automatic pool cleaners are all about convenience. When you use automatic cleaners, you won’t need to brush, vacuum or skim the pool all that much yourself. That doesn’t mean you’ll never have to lift a finger: you’ll need to fit the device up to the pool yourself. But you can expect to spend less time cleaning and more time swimming. There are two types of automatic pool cleaners;
Pressure pool cleaners
Pressure pool cleaners use pressure to move around the pools bottom and walls. Since they have their own filters bag, they reduce wear and tear on your pool filter. Most valuable in pools that receive larger debris such as twigs, gumnuts and big leaves.
Suction pool cleaners
Suction pool cleaners are your normal barracuda-type cleaner that is attached with a hose to the pools circulation system and strain the water through the pools skimmer basket and filter. Most suited to pools that receive dust and smaller particles, a leaf canister may be needed to deal with twigs, gumnuts or leaves.
Robotic pool cleaners
Robotic pool cleaners do all the work for you while you sit poolside with an iced tea and soak up the sun. Robotics are intelligent, diligent and work independently from the pools filtration system, eliminating the need to pump water through meters of piping for filtering. Robotics also filter the water themselves vacuuming any type of debris into its own filter basket, making your cartridge filter or sand filters life much easier.
